Nesting

It's been so long since the last blog update that I don't even know where to begin! As it has turned out, moving is some serious business (and expensive too, fyi). We have been doing dome serious nesting. We have made a lot of progress and we are more or less in the final touches now. First, my man has been able to unpack his whiskeys and just today the new curtains for his room arrived. Second, I ordered shitload of stuff from Ikea and they have also arrived and we have assembled all of them. We have spent a lot of time with that!

My man is very efficient with his tools. Lots of things to do, and in no time he gets them done! I have also been able to unpack my arts and crafts supplies. I still have to re-arrange some of them, but it has felt so good to empty the boxes. 

It looked pretty good already in my room, but then I unpacked the decorations and dragons and it exploded again. 

We have also re-arranged the living room. First we got our new fridge and then the new table for tv was done. Living room needs now only new curtains (turquoise), some string lights to bring the magic and some artwork done by yours truly to remove the pure white from the wall. 

All in all the new home is starting to look pretty damn amazing. I can't wait for the spring that I on top of everything else I get to gardening too!

Viimeisimmästä päivityksestä on niin kauan etten edes tiedä mistä aloittaa! Kuten on käynyt ilmi, muuttaminen on totista puuhaa (ja myös kallista, tiedoksenne). Olemme pesineet ihan urakalla. Olemme saaneet paljon aikaan ja jäljellä on enemmän tai vähemmän viimeistelyt. Ensinnäkin, mieheni on pystynyt purkamaan viskinsä hyllyihin ja juuri tänään uudet verhot hänen huoneeseensa saapuivat. Toiseksi, tilasin järkyttävän määrän kamaa Ikeasta ja ne ovat saapuneet ja olemme jo kasanneet ne kaikki. Käytimme siihen paljon aikaa!

Mieheni on hyvin tehokas työkalujensa kanssa. Paljon on tehtävää, ja hän saa ne hetkessä valmiiksi! Olen myös päässyt purkamaan askartelutavaroitani. Minun täytyy vielä järjestää uudelleen osa, mutta laatikoiden tyhjentäminen tuntui niin hyvältä.

Huoneeni näytti jo melko hyvältä, mutta kun purin koriste-esinelaatikot ja lohikäärmeet, se räjähti uudelleen.

Olemme myös järjestäneet olohuonetta uudelleen. Ensimmäiseksi saimme uuden jääkaappimme ja sitten uuden televisiotason. Olohuone tarvitsee nyt enää uudet verhot (turkoosia), vähän valosarjoja jotta saadaan taikaa ja taideteoksia allekirjoittaneelta jotta seinien valkoisuus poistuu.

Kaiken kaikkiaan uusi kotimme alkaa näyttämään ihan hiton mahtavalta. En malta odottaa kevättä jotta kaiken muun lisäksi pääsen puutarhahommiin!
