I've been thinking writing about relationships quite some time, but now I feel is the time for it.
Moving to Germany have had a huge impact on the relationships and people in my life. Some were strong in the beginning, and have grown only more strong. These people have helped me through the first dark weeks, and still keep on walking right there beside me.
Some were strong when I left, but dwindled by the passing of the time. It is hard and it is sad that not all people have stayed in my life like I hoped they would.
Some were young, fresh, just about to bloom, but I still had high hopes and was confident the distance would only make them stronger. Unfortunately I was wrong, and I have been forced to say goodbyes to some.
Of course I am no angel, and I have made my fair share of mistakes. Taking for granted something that should've been valued and treasured. I hope I will keep on growing to be a better person and take good care of the important people in my life.
After the crisis in early October with my man and me, we got back together. However, now this relationship came to its end as well and I have said goodbye to it from my part. It is very sad, and not what I hoped nor wanted, but sometimes life just doesn't go as planned.
I have been here over eight months now. I am still standing, and I have found my way. Germany, you might throw obstacles in my way in many ways, but you will never break me.

Olen ajatellut kirjoittaa ihmissuhteista jo kauan, mutta nyt minusta tuntuu että aika on kypsä.
Saksaan muutto on vaikuttanut valtavasti elämäni ihmissuhteisiin ja ihmisiin. Jotkut olivat vahvoja alun alkaen, ja ovat kasvaneet entistä vahvemmaksi. Nämä ihmiset ovat auttaneet minut ensimmäisten synkkien viikkojen läpi, ja edelleen kulkevat vierelläni.
Jotkut olivat vahvoja kun lähdin, mutta hiipuneet ajan kuluessa. On raskasta ja surullista että kaikki ihmiset eivät ole pysyneet elämässäni kuten toivoin.
Jotkut olivat uusia, juuri puhkeamaisillaan, mutta silti toiveeni olivat korkealla ja olin vakuuttunut että etäisyys tekisi niistä entistä vahvempia. Valitettavasti olin väärässä, ja olen joutunut sanomaan joillekin hyvästit.
Tietenkään en ole enkeli, ja olen tehnyt oman osani virheitä. Pitänyt itsestäänselvyytenä jotakin jota olisi pitänyt arvostaa ja vaalia. Toivon että jatkan kasvamista paremmaksi ihmiseksi ja pidän hyvää huolta tärkeistä ihmisistä jotka ovat elämässäni.
Lokakuussa olleen kriisin jälkeen minä ja mieheni palasimme yhteen. Nyt tämä ihmissuhde on kuitenkin myös tullut tiensä päähän ja olen sanonut sille omasta puolestani hyvästit. Se on hyvin surullista, eikä sitä mitä toivoin tai halusin, mutta aina elämä ei mene kuten suunnittelee.
Olen ollut täällä nyt yli kahdeksan kuukautta. Yhä seison, ja olen löytänyt tieni. Saksa, voit heitellä esteitä tielleni, mutta et koskaan murra minua.
