Today we went to visit one of my staff member in a hospital. I don't want to be one of those producers who barely know the names of her staff, and as my young employee is at the hospital, I of course want to visit him to give him support.
But who the hell knew that Munich has TWO hospitals with the SAME F*CKING NAME. I mean seriously, what the hell?? We hopped onto the subway, found the hospital and followed the instructions (main doors, turn left, take the stairs, then past the cafe and then take the elevator to the third floor). Everything matched, but it was the WRONG F*CKING HOSPITAL. Then I had to run already back to the studio for a Skype meeting, and my other colleagues finally made it to the right hospital.
This is what happens to me every f*cking time I try to do something here. Either the place is not there anymore, or it has moved and new address is nowhere to be found, or the street names change in the crossroads and now THIS. Seriously germans, what the f*ck? Who has the brilliant idea of building two hospital buildings and naming them identically???
I will try to make a new visit tomorrow and hopefully I'll find the right hospital. Luckily I will have colleagues with me tomorrow too who speak german, so we might find the right hospital.

Tänään menimme käymään erään tiimini jäsenen luona sairaalassa. En halua olla yksi niistä tuottajista joka hädin tuskin tietää tiiminsä jäsenten nimet, ja koska nuori työntekijäni on sairaalassa, tottakai haluan olla tukena.
Mutta kuka helvetti tiesi että Münchenissä on KAKSI sairaalaa joilla SAMA V*TUN NIMI. Siis oikeasti, mitä helvettiä?? Hyppäsimme metroon, löysimme sairaalan ja seurasimme ohjeita (etuovista sisään, käänny vasemmalle, rappuset ylös, kahvilan ohi ja sitten hissillä kolmanteen kerrokseen). Kaikki täsmäsi, mutta se oli VÄÄRÄ V*TUN SAIRAALA. Sitten minun pitikin jo juosta takaisin studiolle Skype palaveriin, ja muut kollegani vihdoin pääsivät perille oikeaan sairaalaan.
Tämä tapahtuu minulle joka v*tun kerta kun yritän tehdä täällä jotain. Joko paikka ei ole enää siellä missä piti, tai se on muuttanut ja uutta osoitetta ei ole tiedossa, tai kadunnimet vaihtuvat keskellä risteystä ja nyt TÄMÄ. Oikeasti saksalaiset, mitä v*ttua? Kuka on saanut loistavan idean rakentaa kaksi eri sairaalarakennusta ja nimetä ne identtisesti???
Yritän huomenna mennä uudelle vierailulla ja toivottavasti löydän oikean sairaalan. Onneksi minulla on mukanani huomennakin kollegoita jotka puhuvat saksaa, joten saatamme löytää oikean sairaalan.
