Nails

Once again it was time to do new nails. I have been thinking longingly for a long time after this new shape and length called either Russian almond or Gothic almond. Today I decided I want to try making them. It took me 7 hours to complete both hands, but the end result is doable!

They are not perfect by no means, and there is lot to improve what it comes to shape. However, since I have never tried anything like this before, I'm pretty happy with the end result. Whether it is reasonable to have this long nails in winter time, is a subject to an entire different matter :D

Jälleen kerran oli aika tehdä uudet kynnet. Olen haaveillen kaivannut uuden kynsimallin ja pituuden perään. Niitä kutsutaan joko venäläiseksi manteliksi tai goottilaiseksi manteliksi. Tänään päätin että haluan kokeilla tehdä sellaiset. Yhteensä aikaa meni 7 tuntia, mutta lopputulos on melkein siedettävä! 

Kynnet eivät ole täydelliset millään muotoa, ja on paljon parannettavaa mitä tulee muotoon. Kuitenkin siihen nähden etten ole koskaan ennen kokeillut mitään tällaista, olen melko tyytyväinen lopputulokseen. Se, onko järkevää tehdä näin pitkät kynnet talviaikaan, on ihan kokonaan eri asia :D
